What's Available in Georgian Papers Online

Through the catalogue Georgian Papers Online, the GPP intends to make the historic manuscripts relating to the Georgian monarchy more widely available. These papers, which include both official and private documents, will be drawn from holdings at the Royal Archives and the Royal Library.

The large body of uncatalogued material held at Windsor contains more than 425,000 pages, of which only about 15 per cent have previously been published. Most of these papers relate to George III and, to a lesser extent, George IV, although papers from the reigns of George I, George II and William IV will also be digitized, as will those relating to other members of the royal family from the Georgian period.
